Delta Flight: Security Scare Over Galley QuestionA passenger's question about galley blockages on a Delta flight from Los Angeles to Fort Lauderdale triggered a security scare, reminding crew of 9/11 concerns and prompting a sensitive response.

On the Delta Reddit page, a traveler recently disclosed that an easy question asked by a guest in seat 1B stimulated a safety scare on board their red-eye trip from Los Angeles to Fort Lauderdale.

    Question Sparks Security Concern

“Extraordinary this man can’t understand why it could be questionable for the guest seated in one of both closest possible seats to the flight deck door to ask about galley blockages treatments,” the initial poster wrote.

The passenger reacted, “Oh, excuse me, I didn’t understand I had not been able to ask concerns,” to which the cabin manager apparently responded, “I can respond to most concerns, yet I can not respond to inquiries connected to the security of the airplane.”

When the traveler asked why the steward couldn’t respond to a security-related concern, the cabin manager presumably stated, “Seriously? You recognize why. Do not you remember 9/11? We can not speak about that stuff. Thank you for letting us recognize what you observed on your prior trips.”
